My trainee receptionist and welcomer

Headingley, Leeds acupuncture clinic receptionist.

If you visit my Headingley acupuncture clinic, you may be fortunate enough to be greeted by my cheeky household companion, or her shy tabby friend.
She is still learning reception duties but has grasped the art of lounging in the hallway and looking very cute.

Little cat (died 2011, aged 17 1/2 years)

Headingley, Leeds acupuncture clinic receptionist.

Little cat was my faithful household companion for many years.
Despite no formal training or qualification in complementary medicine, she displayed a natural talent for shiatsu and practiced her own unique form of acupressure assisted by claws as sharp as any acupuncture needles.

Cosmetic acupuncture in Leeds

facial acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture, combined with body acupuncture and facial acupressure is a popular non-surgical treatment, that works on the whole person combining Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with an intensive facial acupuncture and acupressure treatment. My patients usually notice benefits beyond, and in addition to improved facial appearance and tone. Additional benefits may include an improved sense of well-being, improved energy levels and concentration, better quality sleep. An initial course of treatment usually comprises 6 sessions at weekly intervals.

Acupuncture and Shiatsu as natural healing therapies

Acupuncture, Shiatsu and Acupressure therapies have a common history: they are based on Chinese Medicine principles and make use of channels and points on the body. Qi or Ki regulate all functions within the body-mind and blockages and imbalances produce pain and other symptoms associated with ill health. These oriental therapies aim to alleviate symptoms and enhance well-being by restoring balance.

Working at the Leeds Wellbeing Centre

I am pleased to be involved with the Leeds Wellbeing Centre in making complementary therapies such as shiatsu available and accessible to people who would otherwise struggle to afford such therapies within private practice.
